Scope
This guide covers most of the major areas of the Transportation subject (including Automotive;
Aviation; Bicycling; Maritime; Shipping, Logistics & Statistics; and Travel & Trip Planning); it was created more with the public library user in mind than an academic user. The vast majority of these general transportation sources are linked and freely available online unless otherwise indicated; resources with proprietary restrictions are noted as well as access points given, if known.

MARITIME

It provides full-text information on 1000 ships built on the Pacific Coast and ships with a connection to the Northwest. The database includes the names (and former names ) of vessels, their builders, careers and disposition.
